I got some lobster tails from Compare Foods the other day. They had them on sale for $3 per pound and I figured I hadn’t had them in a while and so, why not? This time, instead of the usual boiling (which is how most people cook lobster tails) and serving with butter, I wanted to try something different. I had heard from a friend of ours that broiling lobster tails takes them to another level – I soon found out they weren’t kidding!
So this is the recipe I used:
Below you can see pictures of the lobster tails on the baking sheet. You can see how I cut them straight down the middle. Don’t use a knife to do this as you can easily cut yourself. The first picture is prior to broiling. The next three pictures are of the lobster tails after broiling and ready to serve and eat – don’t they look super yummy!
This ended up being the best lobster I have ever had. Try it and I am sure you will agree. The best ever boiled lobster tail recipe. I will never go back to boiled lobster tails again! It was so good and moist that I didn’t need any butter dipping sauce – It was simply the best lobster I have ever had!
