Marijuana for many years has been misrepresented and literally lied about by politicians, church leaders and businessmen. Marijuana is the least harmful drug out there. It has no long lasting or destructive side effects. There are no deaths attributed to marijuana. Yet, alcohol and tobacco which together kill more people each year then AIDS and heart disease are perfectly legal for adults.

Marijuana has been proven through scientific research to have medical properties and to be very useful in treating a wide myriad of medical conditions. There is a lot of research on marijuana use that supports marijuana as a literal wonder drug. So, why then is it still illegal and why are some states like North Carolina having such a hard time passing medical marijuana laws so patients can get real medicine that isn’t harmful to their bodies?

The reason is simple – corruption in politics and big corporations. North Carolina is tobacco and special interest country. Numerous state politicians have their hands deeply engulfed in big tobacco money. These companies and their politicians don’t want marijuana or even medical marijuana legalized as it will reduce the enormous profits from cigarette sales.

This is what is referred to as corruption because its not about what is right for North Carolinians, but rather about profits for these companies and campaign funding for these certain corrupt politicians. You need to know what issues and which way your politicians are leaning – are they for medical marijuana or against it? A great place to start your research is with the MPP or Marijuana Policy Project in North Carolina.

The MPP/NC website will inform you of what is going on in Raleigh with respect to the ever important issue of medical marijuana and what you can do about it. Get involved – the more that people get involved the greater our chances are of this legislation getting passed and becoming a law in 2012! NC patients need their healthy medicine. At the same time the states coffers could definitely use the millions in tax revenue medical marijuana would bring.

Are you an online seller and suffering from possible buyer fraud through PayPal? Here's how to effectively stop it!

It can be frustrating when you do your best to send customers their items that they purchase through your website and they then file an item not received or similar complaint. If they really didn’t receive the item then I am fine with this and they should either get another one sent out or a refund. But what really irritates me is when these customers receive the item and then they file a item not received complaint anyway.

They basically are trying to get a free item. No matter how you look at this, bottom line it’s called buyer fraud and it is a crime. It should also be treated as such. It is no different than a customer going into a local store at the mall or local Walmart to buy a new pair of shoes and then returning with their receipt the next day with the box and their old, nasty shoes inside – it is fraud and a crime and needs to be treated as such.

if you don’t treat buyer fraud as a crime these people will continue to do it to others and eventually word will spread around that you are an easy mark and you will get more and more of this buyer fraud. Instead you need to learn how to stop it dead in its tracks. Make these scumbag buyers that never had any intention on paying for their purchase realize you are not to be messes with.

You also need to make PayPal aware of this too. Otherwise PayPal will continue on their program of basically refunding almost every customer regardless of whether the claim is valid or not. PayPal buyer fraud is pretty bad and there is an easy solution. You need to contact PayPal and send them this exact message:

This customer received the item we shipped. USPS tracking number XXXX on date XX/XX and to XXXX address. This is clearly buyer fraud. This customer clearly never intended to pay for said item and this is buyer fraud, a crime in every state in the USA. If you find for the buyer then I must exercise my right and get the police involved. Please let me know the answer to your decision soon so I can notify the police if need be.

This will get PayPal’s attention and 9 times out of 10 they will issue you a refund, or find in your favor. PayPal does not want to mess with the police or law enforcement as it is just not worth it to them. If they do find for the buyer then carry through with this. The police will note it under the persons record and you can file a warrant out for them in their county and have them arrested.

You can also sue them. I don’t advise this as you probably won’t ever see anything from them – most of the people that commit online buyer fraud are deadbeats. Just by doing the above you will 9 times out of 10 get a refund from PayPal or they will find for you. And that is enough.

PayPal needs to see we are not dumb sellers and we will make their life difficult if they keep finding for the fraudulent buyers out there. Also, watch out for buttons and links that don’t work on PayPal’s website. The appeal a case button almost never works. Sometimes the buttons or links to add customer delivery information to a case don’t work either. PayPal has known about these issues for over 5 years (makes one wonder why they don’t care to fix it).

If you can’t get your info through to PayPal then email them at complaint-response@paypal.com. Remember, they are customers They tend to handle things fairly quickly there. Good luck and remember, by using the above technique you should have 90% fewer loses from buyer fraud through PayPal.

All about Google and their unethical and unfair Panda Update - you need to read about Google's unethical and illegal business practices!

Well, if you have been following the news or even what is posted on forums on the internet then you probably know about the Google Panda update. Google usually has one big update to its search engines per year, but this time it was different, very different. Google crossed the boundaries of what is fair or ethical.

What Panda basically did was two things. First it moved some duplicate content websites farther back in the rankings. For example websites like Hub Pages and Ezinearticles got slammed for having thousands of article rewrites (basically their authors rewrite each others articles and then re-post them). This was good, but then, in a dark way and under the guise of this beneficial part of the update they rolled out another, more sinister part.

This second part of the Google Panda update penalized websites that are all about white hat SEO and generating unique, quality content for their readers. Google penalized sites like ScreamingReviews and others solely because they veered into some of the niches or areas where Google has properties. Specifically in our instance we were penalized (Google traffic dropped in half) because some of our consumers reviews deal with restaurants and this competes with Zagat – a website Google recently purchased.

Google is cleary favoring Google owned websites and content. Google wants to ensure they get their value out of Zagat and other similar properties. So, if you look into the traffic trends you will see that websites like ScreamingReviews (which has only 100% unique consumer driven content of the highest quality – much better content then Zagat and other similar websites) lost 50% of its Google traffic and Zagat was one of the only websites to gain traffic from that Panda update. Yelp was even targeted and lost serious traffic – why? Because they directly compete with Zagat!

Is that fair? No. Is it ethical business behavior? No. Is it illegal behavior? Yes. This is just another instance of Google abusing their monopoly of the internet and search. This is why the FTC and government are currently doing an anti trust inquiry or investigation into Google and it’s business practices over the past ten years or so.

I imagine when Google sees this post they will further ding us as they don’t want this information to get around that they are operating in an unethical and even illegal manner, but this needs to get out there. Google is now spending millions of dollars on lobbyists in Washington DC to try and circumvent this anti-trust investigation by the Department of Justice.

Cleary Google is no longer following their old adage of do no evil. It is now gloves off at Google and anything goes. It is time for the justice department to kick in and split them up – this will only improve internet search and other related internet endeavors as it will bring about more equal competition. Google is like ma bell back in the 70′s and early 80′s until it was split up by the justice department.

If you are against big Google and it’s illegal tactics of favoring their own properties and content then be sure and contact your state representatives, governor, etc… and make your voice heard. Don’t let them use their billions like Microsoft did and keep their illegal activities under wraps.

The good news here is that Europe is set to give Google some serious penalties as they have found them to be an illegal monopoly.

The European commission has the power to fine Google 10% of its annual revenues. This could seriously impact Google and make it change its abusive behaviors. Will they stop? Probably not as they just bought another potentially questionable property Admeld.

Kilz original primer, sealer and stain blocker spray review

I had some tenants that left one of my rental houses and they left quite a mess. Apparently towards the end of their lease they and all their inbred relatives lost their jobs due to the bad economy and they all moved in. According to the next door neighbor there were upwards of 15 families and lots of derelicts living there and going in and out. They ended up leaving stains and marks all over the walls and on the ceilings.

We also had to replace the carpet as it was completely trampled. The carpet wasn’t that old and it was a very nice carpet. They killed the carpet. They also broke the washer and dryer. We also had to have some minor HVAC repair done. But the worst was the ceiling and walls. I told them no smoking in the house. Apparently one of their relatives or most likely more then 1 relative smoked heavily. The ceiling had serious smoke stains in the one bedroom.

The walls were awful. There was marker and pen all over the kids room. I first tried to put up another coat of paint but when it dried the marker came right through. The ceiling paint had the same effect on the smoke stains – none. So I went to Home Depot and told the guy behind the paint counter my dilemma.

He recommended that I use a gallon of Kilz for big areas and a spray can or two of Kilz original primer and sealer for the ceiling areas and hard to reach or small wall areas. I went back to the property and followed his directions and after using the Kilz (one coat only on the walls and one application with the Kilz spray can paint on the ceiling areas) I found that the marker, pen and other stains like the ceiling smoke stains didn’t bleed or show through.

This Kilz stuff is a definite time saver. I don’t know how many coats I would have needed without the Kilz. It would have taken many coats and to be honest it would probably still have shown through. Kilz makes a superior stain blocker spray and wall sealer. It definitely saved me many hours of painting time and I hate painting.

You might ask that if I am a landlord why didn’t I just hire someone to paint. I did. After the Kilz I got heat stroke and had to hire a professional painting crew to finish the house. There was a lot of work to do there. I also tried to keep the costs down because I knew I would never recoup my costs from the previous deadbeat tenants.

The Kilz paint worked great and was a definite time saver. There was a huge difference. The Kilz covered the magic marker and other stuff on the walls right away with one coat. Kilz is also super cheap compared to a gallon of Glidden or Behr paint. Next time you need to cover up marks, permanent marker or smoking stains give Kilz a try. The Kilz spray cans worked great on the ceiling and had great coverage. I think it only took 3 cans to seal the ceiling stains.

Fast Brite headlight cleaner review - this headlight cleaner is only a scam - nothing more

My father told me to buy this product called Fast Brite. He saw it on TV and he knew that my car’s headlight lenses had a bad case of the cloudyness they showed in their commercial. My Dad said he would give me $20 for it. So I called their number and gave them my credit card information.

What happened next was weird. They asked me if I wanted tail light cleaner – I said no. Then they asked if I wanted side skirt cleaner -I said no. Then they asked if I wanted some kind of road hazard protection – I said no because I already have AAA roadside assistance and don’t need more roadside assistance (besides I’ve only ever had to use the AAA road side assistance once when I locked myself out of my car at the nearby laundromat).

They kept asking question after question of extras and add ons. I said no to all and that I just wanted the headlight cleaner. The customer service rep I had then told me all these add ons were free for me to try and required for the purchase. They said the $10 price plus $8 shipping and handling was only for customers that tried out all the extras and they said I could easily cancel the moment I received them all.

So, I finally relented and said yes – I had to leave and pick up my girlfriend to go to the movies. I never planned on spending 40 minutes on the phone listening to all these offers I didn’t want or have the slightest interest in. After the phone call was done it took over 2 and a half weeks to receive my order.

I immediately called to cancel like I was instructed to upon receiving the order. This is where everything went downhill really fast. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone. I was finally told after pressing 2 for this and 4 for that and so on seemingly endlessly that I would be called back within 2 days. That phone call never came.

But boy did the bill come, though – I thought I was going to be paying $20 or so for the $10 headlight cleaner and $8 for shipping and handling. That was definitely not the case. The charge on my credit card was for well over $200! Can you believe that! Over $200. I was irate to say the least.

At least I got the headlight cleaner and I tried that and you know what? That didn’t work worth horse crap. It did nothing. I tried a simple $2 bottle of Walmart Windex and guess what? That did a far better job of cleaning my headlights then the Fast Brite headlight cleaning kit. Seriously, it wasn’t perfect, but a $2 bottle of glass cleaner was far more effective then the $200+ Fast Brite headlight cleaning kit – it sucked.

What a scam this Fast Brite headlight cleaner is. To this day I have been trying to fight this bogus $200+ charge to my account. I can’t get anywhere with Fast Brite scammers and I can’t get the bank to do anything because I used a debit card. I also ended up bouncing checks because I wasn’t expecting the $200+ charge to my account. That cost me another $150 in bounced check fees.

I am mad and I am hot – these scam artists at Fast Brite cost me over $350 for a stupid headlight cleaning scam that did nothing to clean my headlight lenses – what a scam! My advice here is to stay far away from Fast Brite and their TV commercials and headlight cleaner scam! They rank right up their with Photo Blocker as the biggest scams in the automotive industry!

The TGI Fridays spinach and artichoke cheese dip was just average - nothing spectacular by any means.

Last time my wife and I were at BJ’s wholesale club up on the Concord Mills exit (by Concord NC) we found a coupon for $3 off on the new TGI Fridays spinach and artichoke cheese dip. So we decided to give it a try.

We used it as one of the appetizers for our Thanksgiving spread. When I opened up the original box I found there were four smaller boxes inside. At first I heated one up in the microwave, but the serving was so small that I needed two to fill a small serving bowl.

The directions were easy to follow – lift a corner flap in the cover and then heat at high for 3 minutes. Stop and stir well then reheat at high for an additional minute. So it only takes about 4 minutes and this artichoke and spinach dip is ready to go. You might want to wait a minute or so for it to cool down a little before removing the cover and pouring it into a serving bowl.

The dip looks pretty good, and was of average taste for a cheese dip. I have made a better spinach and artichoke cheese dip myself. I think it was okay and so did my guests, but at the end of the night it was still mostly left. Why? Because it was only marginally good.
At a football game tailgate party it might have fared better, but it was surrounded by a lot of different homemade appetizers for our Thanksgiving celebration and it got passed by for better stuff.

Now, by looking at the above pictures you can see that clearly is not a big bowl I placed it in and it took 2 packages to sufficiently fill it. The TGI Fridays artichoke and spinach cheese dip as I already said was just okay. It wasn’t anything great. I have had far better cheese dips and I personally make a much better spinach and artichoke cheese dip.

I would pass this one on by unless there is a big coupon and you are looking for an average cheese dip.

Did you know that the government has been misusing laws like the Patriot Act to circumvent the rights of Americans? This is true. Want to see it in action? I don’t advise doing this, but you can pick up your phone and call someone and then say something with certain keywords like bomb, terrorism, assassinate, President Obama, New York City, Los Angeles, nuclear bomb, etc…

One of these keywords by itself may not trigger it, but any combination of them will. Organizations like the Secret Service and National Security Agency are constantly using monitoring programs to monitor each and every single phone call.They are also watching every internet search (I know this because my father worked for the NSA and believe me, they know too much about everyone nowadays – way too much). Just deleting your Google search cache won’t be effective – they have already seen what you are typing and searching under.

What’s amazing is that they know those that are searching for child porn without protection (like a VPN or similar – let me say this now – I do not condone child pornography and think those that participate in it are sick) but they do not care to turn them in as it doesn’t have any value to them on a federal or national security level. They are only interested if they can use you like the supposed 9/11 terrorists (patsies) that were setup or if you are up to something that they don’t like. And don’t think they will tell you the truth about their spying on American citizens – just look at the infamous Plum Island and lies the government is telling about what really goes on there.

The government is watching groups of people like Neo Nazis, skin heads, even mormons and christians – any group of people that can have power and clout. They are also abusing their power to watch each other – politicians do this all the time. Yes, even Hillary Clinton has been doing this. So, don’t think they aren’t watching you and what you are doing. Chances are they have been doing it for years. Tip – the recent Google Panda update may have something to do with this also.

So, how do you get under the governments nose and surf the internet with complete anonymity? How can you surf and know that no one can watch you or what you are doing? How to make THC alcohol (aka Green Dragon) from your left over weed, leaves and shake

A lot of people have been asking me about this lately – how to make a great drink from their left over marijuana. You know, the stuff that sits at the bottom of your bag. It’s loose shake and it doesn’t make for a great joint or anything. But did you know it can make an awesome THC laced drink?

Making alcoholic drinks out of marijuana is nothing new and has been around for ages. Everyone knows alcohol can’t be beat at extracting juices and flavors when cooking. Well this same idea applies to marijuana. Did you know that the leafy material and stems of any marijuana plant also have THC, but just at much lower percentages? This is true.

Surf the internet with complete privacy and remove all restrictions on internet usage regardless of what country you are in!

So, why waste this material. You can’t smoke it – smoking leaves is really rough and you would have to literally smoke a tree to get high. Instead take all the bad shake, leaves and stems sans the seeds (the seeds have carcinogenic and poisonous compounds that leach out when doing an alcohol extraction) and get a grinder.

Any grinder will work. You can also use a Cuisinart or similar chopping machine. I would use the same machine and get a cheap one because it is easier that way – it is a pain to clean the machine completely after shredding pot leaves and stem matter in it. I would just buy a cheap one at Walmart or better yet get one even cheaper at TJ Maxx or Marshalls if you can find one there (they are usually $5 or under at Marshalls in the kitchen section).

Once you have all this plant material shredded up good, get a mason jar or two and fill with strong alcohol. You will find that 150+ proof (75%+) alcohol works best. You can use lower strength alcohol or liquor, but it won’t absorb all the THC (much will get wasted) and it will take far longer for this process to work.

Here is a picture showing the difference when different strength alcohols are used. The glass on the left was done with 150 proof Everclear. The glass on the right with 80 proof clear rum. The one on the left has far more THC in it.

Generally, if you use a strong alcohol like Everclear (available in both 150 and 180 proof – around here you get the best price at Froogal MacDoogal right next to Carowinds) you will get a dark green liquid in about 1 week loaded with THC. If you use a lower strength alcohol, like 80 proof clear rum, you will end up with a gold colored drink that looks like tequila and doesn’t have anywhere near the strength you will want. I mean it is better then nothing, but you are probably going to need to drink 4 or 5 times more to get the same feeling and effect.

It is important that you let it sit for 2 weeks if possible as THC is still being drawn out and extracted by the alcohol. After 2 weeks it isn’t going to get noticeably stronger. The resultant drink will be dark green in color and will be very high in THC content. This drink is commonly referred to as green dragon. So next time you have some extra leafy material, bad shake or bud that is getting old or stale turn it into a great incognito drink.

The drink can be used for cooking and you can also add it to all sorts of mixed drinks to get a much better feeling then you would with just alcohol by itself. I have taken this strong THC alcohol drink with me to many sports games, concerts and more. It is easy to get by security in a small flask and you can’t smoke pot at a game – you will get caught. But you can drink it – take a flask of green dragon and have a truly great time.

Just be sure to not drink and drive – I hate drunk drivers. Always have a designated driver. And while you are at it be sure and tell your local and state representatives that you want legal medical marijuana in North Carolina. They won’t do it if you don’t do your part and tell them you want this passed soon.

Music rights groups like the RIAA and especially SACEM are going to ridiculous, unethical and possibly illegal lengths now to enforce their clients rights.

Can you believe the steps that the RIAA and related music rights group SACEM have gone to? They are literally trying to financially destroy people that they can’t even prove had any personal involvement in downloading their clients music.

Seriously, just look at this post on Torrent Freak where they are going after the guys last and final personal assets (his coffee table, wooden shelf, etc…) It doesn’t get any more pathetic then that. SACEM may be trying to send a message, but it is clearly the wrong one.

Here in the US we have the Communications Decency Act (or CDA as most people refer to it as) which protects website owners from liability for third party comments, posts, etc… Apparently in France they don’t have that. This is ridiculous and needs to stop. Don’t they understand that hackers and downloaders have one thing in common? They first watch bits of the movie or music in a free, usually low quality download. Then if they like it they go out and buy it. It is a confirmed fact that music pirates buy more music and CDs then anyone else.

So these measures by the RIAA and SACEM are counterproductive. I mean, who wouldn’t be happy that the pirates are buying more and more music. They take a free peak and then buy what they like. Oh, but the real answer here is that the RIAA, SACEM and the individual artists and music rights owners want cash. They think that by penalizing the downloaders that they can turn these recession years of hard times around.

They even have music artists on the trail now (like dumbass Scott Ian – the heavily tattooed guitarist for Anthrax) all that will happen is that their music, in retaliation, will get downloaded more. Maybe artists like Scott Ian are doing this because their sales are down as their music has lost its initial oomph over the years. I have listened to Anthrax and they aren’t anywhere as near as good as they used to be – maybe instead of going after pirates they should spend more effort on writing better music.

Bottomline – The music industry is full of change. New music niches are always coming about and change is ever present. Don’t go after your best buyers (pirates and downloaders). Also, stop abusing the legal process in going after those that haven’t even downloaded your music and have only created a forum where others can speak freely about downloading, etc… Freedom of speech should be allowed everywhere. Even in France.

Leave Blacklistef alone (the guy they are trying to take his furniture from at the start of this post) as that is ridiculous and all you are going to do is set all his friends and millions of pirates and hackers on the internet after you. Many more will get wise to what you are doing and start using VPN services and anonymity to download your clients music, movies and more. Stop beating a dead horse – the only loser here in this battle in both the near and distant future is the music rights groups SACEM and RIAA and others.
