I bought this headlight restoration kit from Mothers at my local hardware store because the headlights on my wife’s Toyota Seanna were getting yellow and cloudy. The picture on the box said it was made just for headlights like ours. So I went and bought it to clean up the headlights on my wife’s minivan.
I followed the directions exactly. The cheap pad it came with fell apart in a few minutes even when using the drill on low speed (I have a Makita drill that can be set to really slow speeds), covering the front of my car with sticky fibers. If anything the polish compound made the headlights worse.
This headlight restoration kit from Mother’s did not work at all. It actually made the headlight lenses on my wife’s Toyota minivan a lot worse. Now they look absolutely awful – horrible. This headlight restoration product by Mother’s did not work at all. I cannot recommend this product at all.
Actually, I would only recommend this product to someone I really hate or to lawyers and politicians – this way if they can’t see due to their cloudy headlights and get in a fatal accident and die the world will become a better place! Just kidding on that note, but I’m not kidding on the fact that this product from Mother’s totally sucks and doesn’t work at all.
Oh, and the product guarantee? Right, no information available how to get a refund from Mothers can be found on the box or the website. Like in Tommy Boy, anybody can put a guarantee on a box of Crap.
