Paper Doll Lounge Charlotte Review – this strip club has ugly women and creepy men in the restrooms
My buddy was getting married so we wanted to take him out to a strip club for his bachelor party. I wasn’t really in charge of planning the event, some of my other friends were so I was just along for the ride. I was told we we’re taking him to the Paper Doll Lounge in Charlotte.
We got there around 10 o’clock and went to pay up front at the door. The main lobby was kind of discomforting. The cashier was behind bullet proof glass, and the room was dimly lit. We all paid our $15 cover which I thought was a little steep, but it was my buddies bachelor party so I went along with whatever.
We all paid and what I thought was even more uncomfortable was we had to be buzzed in. It was like we were entering a prison. We got in and sat down at a table and ordered some drinks. I asked the waitress if they had any specials and she replied with $6 beers. That was high but I guess that is what you get for coming to a strip club.
We bought my buddy a dance when we got our drinks, but I must say I was not at all impressed with the women there. I know I didn’t want a dance from any of them. Especially for the price of $25 dances. My buddy was pretty intoxicated when we got there so he was enjoying himself, but I must say I couldn’t wait to leave.
I went to the restroom after a few beers and found some pretty creepy old men hanging out in there. They kept staring me down, and watch intently while I used the restroom. It was quite uncomfortable. I got out of there as fast as I could, but as I was walking out the door I could hear them call out to me “Where you goin boy” I put a little pep in my step and got back to the table.
I tried to make the best of the rest of my friends bachelor party at Paper Doll Lounge. It wasn’t the most enjoyable experience I’ve had. I was extremely disappointed in how ugly the women were. I don’t think I’ll be back there any time soon. I don’t enjoy watching beached whales dry hump a stage.
