Scranton Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep car dealership review – a bad car buying experience all around.

Scranton Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep car dealership review

I was treated terribly both over the phone and in person by Scranton Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep. They have very rude salespeople there.

I had a pretty bad experience at the Scranton Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep car dealership located at 1146 Wyoming Ave Scranton, PA 18509, (888) 382-4895. It happened both in-person and virtually (over the online internet). I emailed them to find out some information about a car that I was thinking of buying and that I just wanted some information on.

The salesperson I initially dealt with didn’t answer most of my questions about the car. All they wanted to know was how soon was I going to buy a car and that I had to come in. I don’t know why they couldn’t answer my questions through e-mail. But, yet the salesman pursued me rather relentlessly, especially after I went in person to the car dealership.

At the store itself, the salesman I met with was very unprofessional and rude. He was a classic sleazeball. He treated me like I was a dumb woman and called me names that he thought were cute and sexy – I was disgusted. I was looking to buy a car, not find a quick hookup with a sleazy car salesman. He then badgered me when I tried to leave the car dealership.

I thought he was behaving like a mix of a spoiled rotten child and a sleazy car salesman from the 1970’s. I ended up getting frustrated and buying my car at a car dealership in Binghamton NY (I bought it at Botnick Chevrolet from a very nice car salesperson named Tom Mangino – he was very knowledgeable and nice).

Anyways, after I purchased the car from Botnick Chevrolet the salesperson from Scranton Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep got very rude and told me he was going to pray that either the deal would fall through or that the car would be a lemon. That is so childish and rude. If he had been nice and answered my questions then I probably would have bought the car from him instead.

But he couldn’t answer my simple questions like what colors they had in stock and what options were on the cars. It was like he was too lazy to get up and look up the cars. Tom Mangino didn’t treat me like that at all. He gladly spent plenty of time with me on the phone and answered all my questions.

It might have been an hour or so’s drive from Scranton where I live to Binghamton where Botnick Chevrolet is, but it was well worth the trip. At the end of my phone conversation with the salesperson from Scranton Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep he got really rude and hung up on me.

I had a very experience at the Scranton Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep car dealership and will not go back there ever again.
