The Medjobsinc and medreps scam – watchout for these job board scammers posting false jobs in healthcare and pharmaceutical sales!

Below is both the spam/scam reply email I received from the scumbag at medpharmrep and my response with links proving they are a 100% scam. They list false medical and pharmaceutical jobs (many of which they just copy off legit sites like LinkedIn and CareerBuilder – which are free by the way) and make false listings at legit sites in hopes of enticing job seekers to join at their paid sites (which then just start charging them $25 or more per month stright off their credit card until they call and cancel). Here is the response I got from these guys after I took several hours to fill out a lengthy applicationfor a job that was most likely non-existant in nature:

I know it’s late notice, but the JnJ Cordis position was filled by an internal candidate. If anything new comes up I will stay in touch. The best thing you can do is apply to as many opp’s as possible to secure interviews. Use these 2 job boards and you should be completely covered on positions.

Here is my response to these scumbags after I did a little research on them (it took lees then 2 minutes on Google to find out they were a complete scam):

Surf the internet anonymously, with complete privacy and remove all restrictions on internet usage regardless of what country you are in!

Its become quite obvious to everyone on the internet that you are running a sort of scam with fake job offers and then sending everyone the same 2 links to paid job listing websites (medjobsinc and medreps). Both of these websites suck and have no valid job offers. People are far better off using LinkedIn, CareerBuilder and other FREE websites which have accurate and original job postings (not copied or reposted like medjobs and medreps). These sites not only post wrongful information, but they are running an illegal credit card scam to boot:

Apparently you guys are running quite the scam – taking advantage of those that were hurt worst by the recession, looking for jobs. You are vermin. I will be forwarding this to everyone on the internet and posting it on major blogs, to sites like the FTC and BBB and others to warn others of this scam of yours.

So, if you find yourself on the receiving end of a letter like this one from these scumbags in reference to a health or pharmaceutical sales job you applied for with links to paid job sites don’t join – its solely a scam. I am also forwarding this information to the FTC, BBB and my state attorney general (Roy Cooper) to make sure they get closed down and that no one gets taken by their scam anymore.

  1. Its RX Staffing that posts the false pharmaceutical jobs. I have 12 years experience as one of the top sales professionals in the healthcare field and every time I apply for a job they post I get that same spam email just like you did trying to get me to go to those same 2 websites. They are pure BS and should be banned from posting their fake jobs on CareerBuilder and elsewhere.
